The TAPPI NANO YP Award recognizes aspiring young leaders employed in the renewable nanomaterials industries (from producers to end users) and related organizations for their contributions in the following areas: leadership, community service, and problem-solving contributions to scientific or engineering projects. Eligible nominees are age 35 or younger, with no more than 10 years of industry experience, and have been a TAPPI member for a minimumof one year. Awardee will automatically be considered for the TAPPI Association Young Professionals of the Year Award.
Special focus on those that have:
- Service to the TAPPI Nano Division
- Research / industrial contributions to cellulose nanomaterials, nano-lignin or other bio- based nanomaterials.
Nominations are due by April 15.
